Review: Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I did really enjoy this novel and all of it's entirety, I tried reading some of her other novels and couldn't ever get into them. However, this one changed my mind about her writing completely. The characters friendship in this story was immaculate. The storyline was very well thought about and portrayed. The only problem with it that I had was how fast paced things happened because I feel it couldn't been a little longer in length. Overall, it was an amazing read though!

Friday Reads June 17th 2016

Hey guys, So Tome Topple readathon and readorama are coming to a slow close. This week I finished up Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas and also Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I gave Crown of Midnight 5 stars while only giving Half-Blood 4 stars due to some errors. With me reading a ton of fantasy back to back I decided to take a fantasy break after those two books and picked up Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and Slammed by Colleen Hoover. I have a daily goal this weekend to read at least 100 pages of each book. I should be able to finish Slammed by Sunday and then shortly after that finish Little Women if I keep up with my daily goal. These readathons have helped me get out of my slump of only reading two books a month. I hate only reading that many a month so I am glad that is going to change in June! Let me go get back to reading and I will see you guys on the flip side Monday with Monday Missions!

Review: The Gathering Darkness

The Gathering DarknessThe Gathering Darkness by Lisa Collicutt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was very interesting to a certain extent but then it got pretty boring honestly. I liked the concept of the novel but I don't think she expanded enough on the idea to make the supernatural aspects of the novel make more sense. Other than that it was very entertaining.

Legacy by Jesikah Sundin Review

Legacy (The Biodome Chronicles #1)Legacy by Jesikah Sundin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book! The characters and plot was amazing. I felt so bad for Fillion in the last chapter but realized he is my favorite out of the 2 love interest of Willow. I can't wait to read the next two in this trilogy! Thanks Jesikah!
